Vocology with heart

Meet Tania - founder of Vocolove

Blending voice science with the art of being yourself

I have always believed that the voice is more than how we speak or sing, it is identity, expression, belonging and the way we take up space in the world.

My journey began in high school as a vocalist and performer, where I learned how powerful, expressive and vulnerable the voice can be. Completing an Advanced Diploma of Music (Voice) deepened my understanding that expressive, free voice use relies on healthy technique, care and intentional training. This sparked a broader curiosity about why the voice behaves the way it does. I began studying it through multiple lenses — artistry, anatomy, motor learning, vocal health, mindset and communication. That curiosity eventually led me to complete a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), expanding my knowledge of voice science and communication across the lifespan.

I love my job

Alongside this, I’ve trained in evidence-informed approaches including becoming an Estill Master Trainer Candidate, Neurochange Practitioner™, LSVT LOUD Clinician, and Vocal Health First Aider. I’ve worked with leaders, educators, performers and everyday speakers across creative, community and clinical settings - all centred on helping people develop voices that are sustainable, expressive and true to who they are.

I love a good framework

Through this work, I developed the Vocolove Grounded Voice Method™,  a structured, evidence-informed framework that supports people to build a voice that feels clear, strong, sustainable and confidently expressed. My approach blends clinical voice science with performance technique and nervous system awareness, helping individuals not only use their voice, but trust it. Today, I work with leaders, singers, speakers and young voice users who want to communicate with clarity and ease, without strain, fatigue or burnout.

Whether we are restoring vocal function, developing performance skills, or supporting identity and confidence, my goal is always the same: To help you feel at home in your voice.

I also love to sing

Alongside my coaching work, I have built a long-standing career as a professional vocalist and performer. For almost two decades, I’ve fronted and collaborated with some of Adelaide’s leading acts. My performance experience spans global online audiences, theatre stages, touring productions, corporate events, endless weddings and studio recording.

Working at this level has shaped my understanding of what real-world vocal demands look and feel like, the intensity, the artistry, the vulnerability, the athleticism, and the vocal endurance required. It’s also allowed me the privilege to mentor emerging artists, navigate the industry with authenticity, and bring a lived understanding of performance psychology, vocal load, and creative identity into every coaching space.

This performance background continues to inform my practice today. It keeps my work grounded in lived experience - not just theory, ensuring that the strategies I teach are not only clinically safe and evidence informed, but also practical, adaptable and artistically relevant for modern performers.
