Singing For Wellbeing

Use the power of singing and music to enhance your health and wellbeing. The health benefits of singing have been researched for many years. Singing in a group develops a sense of belonging and connection, enhances memory, relieves stress and promotes self-expression and confidence. Tania combines her extensive vocal coaching and music industry experience with her current speech pathology studies to deliver various holistic group singing programmes.

Shout Out!

Presented by The Hospital Research Foundation Group, this fun and therapeutic weekly group uses music and singing as a way to develop communication and social skills and facilitate positive well being for individuals living with Parkinson's Disease or for those effected by stroke. 

 

Facilitated by Tania Savelli, this group is an uplifting, supportive and social environment offering vocal exercise to improve vocal and swallowing function coupled with the joy of group singing, social contact and peer support.

When: Mondays, 10:00am – 11:00am

Three Little Sisters
Sing-A-Long

Devised by Tania and featuring her award winning vocal trio the Three Little Sisters, this 60 minute sing-a-long session is designed for aged care facilities. Group singing for the elderly has been proven to improve the effects of dementia and promotes well-being and social engagement for residents.

Featuring two vocalists, this 60 minute performance is designed to be and interactive sing-a-long experience. Complete with songbooks for audience members, this show features well known nostalgic tunes from the golden age of hollywood through to the 1970's.

Inclusions: one, two or three vocalists, songbooks and PA system
