Young Voices
Individualised performing arts voice development for children and teens.
Young Voices is Vocolove's performing arts voice service for children and teens who love to sing, perform and express themselves through their voice.
Whether your child is stepping onto the stage for the first time, training seriously in the performing arts, recovering from a voice problem, or simply needs support to develop a healthy, confident voice, our pathways include speech pathology, vocal health and performance coaching to support voices through every stage of development.
We believe young performers deserve individualised care that protects both their voice and their confidence — helping them develop sustainable technique while enjoying the art they love.

Built on two decades of experience
Young Voices has been shaped by more than twenty years working with developing voices - from first performances through to professional careers.
It brings together specialist speech pathology, vocal coaching, vocal health and lived experience as a professional performer to create a unique model of care for children and teenagers who sing, perform and communicate through their voice. This combination allows young performers to receive support that is both evidence-based and deeply informed by the real demands of the performing arts.
Over more than two decades, Tania has supported hundreds of young singers and performers across Adelaide. She founded the well-regarded singing studio Vocal Hub Kids and has worked extensively across private practice, schools and specialist vocal training programmes. Throughout her career, she has taught in primary and secondary schools, tertiary education and the performing arts industry, including Pelican Productions, TAFE SA and the University of Adelaide's Musical Theatre program. She has also mentored singing teachers and emerging voice professionals, sharing her expertise in healthy voice development, performance and vocal longevity.
Many of the young performers Tania has worked with have gone on to gain places in tertiary performing arts courses, perform in professional productions and pursue successful careers in the performing arts. Her students have also achieved outstanding AMEB examination results, received recognition at local and national eisteddfods, participated in prestigious programs such as Class of Cabaret, and earned places in schools, musicals and other performance opportunities.
As both a clinician and an experienced performer, Tania understands the unique vocal, physical and emotional demands of the performing arts industry. She is passionate about helping young performers build healthy, resilient voices that support them not only for their next audition or performance, but throughout their lifetime.
Today, Tania brings this experience together with her work as a speech pathologist through Vocolove Young Voices, providing, vocal coaching, vocal health support and voice therapy for children and teenagers.
Our Young Voices Services
Every young performer is unique.
At Vocolove, we intentionally keep our programme small so every child and family receives the personalised guidance, specialist care and meaningful relationships they deserve.
Vocal Coaching
Vocal Health and Conditioning
Voice conditioning for young singers with demanding performance schedules.
As vocal demands increase, growing voices may benefit from more focused attention to technique, stamina and sustainable voice use. Delivered one-to-one with Tania Savelli, Vocal Health & Conditioning provides focused coaching for young singers navigating increased rehearsal, performance and training demands.
Sessions focus on efficient technique, vocal stamina, healthy voice habits and strategies for managing the demands of singing and performance. Ideal for musical theatre performers, choir singers, audition preparation and young singers undertaking intensive performance training.
Emerging Performer Mentorships
One-to-one mentorship with Tania Savelli for young performers ready to take the next step.
Designed for passionate young performers seeking individual guidance as they move towards advanced training, tertiary study and professional creative opportunities. Mentorship extends beyond traditional singing lessons, supporting the broader development of the emerging artist. Sessions are individually tailored and may include tertiary and conservatorium audition preparation, musical theatre and performance auditions, cabaret development, show and concept creation, repertoire selection, performance coaching, audition materials and artistic direction.
Young performers can also be supported to develop their own creative work — from shaping an idea and selecting repertoire through to writing, structuring and preparing a cabaret or performance project for the stage.
Drawing on Tania's experience across vocal coaching, professional performance, creative direction and voice, mentorship provides a space to refine your craft, make considered artistic choices and develop a clearer sense of who you are as a performer. Ideal for emerging performers who are serious about their craft and ready for highly individualised guidance as they prepare for their next stage of training or performance.
Speech Pathology
Voice Therapy
Clinical assessment and therapy for children and teens.
When a child or teenager is experiencing changes or difficulties with their voice, early assessment can help identify what may be contributing and guide appropriate next steps. Voice Therapy provides evidence-based speech pathology assessment and intervention for voice concerns affecting speaking, singing and voice use in the performing arts.
With more than 20 years of experience in singing, vocal coaching and performing arts voice, Tania brings an understanding of the vocal demands of young performers to her work as a speech pathologist. This service may be appropriate for hoarseness, vocal fatigue, changes in voice quality, diagnosed vocal fold lesions such as nodules, and young performers experiencing voice difficulties or recovering from vocal injury.
